Product Description

The Butterfly Europa Table Tennis Net Set is Butterfly's highest quality net, and was chosen for the 1997 World Championship and the 2000 World Veterans Championship. The Europa's screw-on, felt-tipped clamps secure their brackets without scratching the table top. The ring chain lets you adjust the net's tension, while the adjustable screws allow you to calibrate the net's height. Complete with Butterfly's sturdiest frame, this USATT and ITTF approved net set fits tables up to 1.5-inches thick.

About Butterfly

Hikosuke Tamasu founded Tamasu Co., Ltd. in the small town of Yanai City, Japan in 1950. This was the beginning of a company career which is almost unique in table tennis. A renowned international for Japan, Tamasu fulfilled his dream of a lifetime when he made his hobby his profession. I have a stiga 1 inch thick tournament table and the Europa is a great match. The net extends several inches past the end of the table on both sides. The anchoring mechanism is very well made, It does not scratch the table and has both height and tension adjustments. The anchoring screws have caps on them so it is easy to grip as opposed to the large needle eyes that come with a typical net achor. It also does a great job at leveling the two center ends of the table. This review is from: Butterfly T32 Europa Table Tennis Net Set (Sports) This is a very well made table. It comes in two separate tables on very sturdy wheels. If you want a table that requires the absolute minimum storage area, then this is it. It's also top tournament quality. You can't do better than this table for table tennis. It can be moved around and set up by one person, but it's a bit heavy. Each table weighs about 130 lbs, but moving it around on wheels and setting up the legs is easy. There is no assembly required accept to screw on the wheels, and of course, set up the net.
