I am in the process of looking to return. The seal is not so good, so you have to run it through the machine a couple of times. In addition, the lamination has ridges in it. It isn't a smoothe finish (and it isn't air pockets??)

My wife used hers no more than 4 times and it burned up. She was not using very heavy at one time. This unit was just not up to standards we set, but for the money, I guess you get what you pay for.
Invest in a more expensive unit.

Looking at some reviewers that said that this was a great unit and other that said that this unit wasn't up to the job. The latter was the case for us, it had been in use for about an hour and a half and then stoped working. My boss seemed to get it working for a bit after this (though I don't know how long) but at this point can't seem to get the sucker turned on. So just a heads up on this unit, I hope if you buy this that you will have one of the glowing reviews, so maybe I just got a lemon.
