| 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful:  Boss 765DBI -- Big disappointment, This review is from: Boss 765DBI In-Dash Solid State MP3 Receiver with Internal iPod Docking Station (Electronics) As described on the website, this receiver looked perfect for my needs: built in bluetooth compatible with my iPhone, and a hidden iPod connection, which means no ugly wires dangling from the front of my dashboard to hook up my tunes. iPod is controllable from the front panel -- also what I wanted. Great that it had a radio, but I like to listen to the iPod and make/receive phone calls; no need for a CD player (which this unit does not have). Unfortunately, the iPod interface is really pretty awful. I have hundreds of albums on my iPod, and there is no way to search through them other than alphabetically, and that requires turning the knob on the front of the unit. No acceleration to get you there faster. Can't search by composer, (although you can search by playlist, genre, artist, album or song) which would have been nice as I am a classical music fan. The WORST feature, however, is that the unit drops the first second of every track as it starts playing, which... This head unit does not come with 2 subwoofer outs, only 1. So this means you have to buy an RCA Y adapter and you get to have lower quality sound from your subs. Next is the features of the head unit. This unit does not have an equalizer so good luck making your sound system sound good. The memory card reader in this unit is bottom of the line quality. The head unit will screw up alot of the songs in your library. I didn't know that a memory card can skip but this head unit makes it possible. This head unit didn't even last a week before i put my old one back in. Nice try BOSS. You still suck. I do not recommend this head unit to anyone that wants quality sound.
