The TV was well-packed and protected in its box. It took two people to get it out of the box but after that I was able to attach the stand and set it up alone, although it is quite heavy. But i can't imagine much better of a tv...especially for the price that i paid thru amazon $1019. The picture is excellent with HD channells...unbelievable picture, it has plenty of hdmi ports, fairly intuitive menu system, all of the online apps you could want (pandora, netflix, news, weather, sports, vudu, blockbuster), built in wireless, built in lan port, and a nice remote with backlit buttons for viewing in the dark. I can control everything with the remote (dvd player, dish network receiver, and the tv). The only negative things that i have to say about this unit is that it seems like the built in wireless card does not work that well....it says that I'm getting 170 Mbps (connected to brand new cisco wireless n router...not very far away either)....however, pandora sometimes won't work.....to experiment, I brought my router into the same room as the tv and it worked perfect...i... Although i still feel that my 5 year old plasma has an overall better picture, this tv has enough positives to outweigh my decision to get a second plasma. I was hesitant to buy a tv from a manufacturer that i hadn't dealt with before, but this Toshiba tv has lived up to my expectations and all the positive reviews i read.Some stuff that i like: 1-Its light and extremely thin (i.e. easier to hang on the wall). 2-It has wireless built in, very easy to connect to my wireless network. 3-It has a few internet apps built in, although the one i will get the most use out of is Netflix. One minor complaint-Not all the internet apps and "widgets" are easy enough to use that they will seem useful.
