 Wow !, By This review is from: Voit Udt Duck Feet Fins (Misc.) I'm surprised that these are still for sale. I am not a current user of these fins, but I have some knowledge of them. The letters u-d-t in the name stand for underwater demolition team, in short, navy frogmen the precursors to Seals. They were never really intended for recreational users and certainly not for surfers. They are quite rigid and the foot pocket has hard edges, so expect to need some sort of foot wear, wet suit booties etc. to prevent chaffing.That said, they give a lot of thrust because of their rigidity but they can be very tiring to swimmers not used to them. It's not that they are bad fins, but rather that they may not be a good choice for recreational divers and surfers.
