Product Description
With the world as their playground, players will explore a vast expanse of mountains and valleys with unprecedented choices in direction never before seen in a Cabela's hunting game. Players can climb an area to get a better angle for the shot but risk being spotted, or they can take a low elevation route with poor visibility but plenty of concealment. Nature doesn't always wait for you to make the first move as the dynamic weather and natural hazards make the hunt even more challenging. The challenge doesn't end there. Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 ups the ante with the most realistic animals ever seen in the Cabela's series. Every animal's unique movement gives clues on what the animal will do next. In order to bag the trophies, players will have to avoid detection through cunning, skill, and deception. They must also utilize master hunting skills such as advanced stalking techniques so they can quickly move through cover and close in on their targets.

I usually stay on top of these with the release dates but this one passed by me. Im almost a month late getting this after its out. I bought it a couple days ago and have been playing it and I have to say I wish I would have left it at the store. This one will be a play and trade ASAP. I was not a fan of the Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 from last year. It was not realistic at all, and pretty annoying actually. They have pulled that element over into Big Game Hunter 2012. I guess they had a lot of success with that game so they are trying to put it in with this one and hope for the best.I've been a firm believer that if you can't make a game challenging without making the gamer do stuff under a time limit, then you shouldn't make the game to begin with. I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and we have not been able to calibrate the gun. This game costs too much money to be this difficult. I'm very upset b/c I've wasted my money, and my guy has no gift. We also wasted 30 minutes going to Gamestop to exchange the first one I bought, only to get another broken one.I am very disappointed. Hunting game, = Fun: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Cabela's Big Game Hunter, 2012 (Video Game) My son enjoys these things, I don't play them personally. He seems to like it and plays it for hours. Doesn't seem to have issues with the game or gun. If you are into games and shooting/hunting then this is a good one I suppose for you. |
