I bought non-toxic Spot Shot pet a few months ago for when my cat makes a mess. It ALWAYS removes the stain instantly. I even tried it on old stains that were not made by him. Totally works. And somehow... it removes the smell of urine. Before this stuff, I had to throw things away, even after washing them several times with different cleaners. Now, I drench the item with this stuff, rub it in a bit... SMELL IS GONE. AMAZING. I'm a great fan of the old "toxic" Spot Shot, which has instantly cleaned stains out of my carpets for years and years, and once the carpet was rinsed and dried with my carpet cleaning machine, there was nothing left but non-toxic and CLEAN carpet. (My cats have lived into their twenties, so apparently this is an accurate assessment.)However, this new "non-toxic" stuff is about as effective as...water? Maybe not even that good. It's probably drinkable, but it does NOTHING to remove stains in your carpet. I am SO SORRY that I threw away my receipt for this totally useless product. Save your money and use Windex..or vodka! This product claims it is non-toxic on the label. Safe around children and pets. I was very excited because I am very careful what to use around my dog. Well, just check out the Caution on the back of the bottle. "May cause eye irritation. Avoid eye contact. Avoid breathing vapors and spray mist. Use in well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and clothing. It goes on and on. Even First Aid if any of this happens. Now how can they call it safe with all these cautions? If you want to use green items stay away from this product. Am returning mine. |
