I hesitated for a long time to buy any HDMI cables that would cost less than $50 per my belief that quality was measured by its price. Was I so wrong. I already own a "Monster 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable 6 ft" which I have attached on my Samsung Blu-Ray player to my HDTV. A week ago I purchased the HP 23" HD LCD Monitor model# w2338h which has an HDMI input for my PC. I also purchased Sony's newest 6.6' 1080p HDMI cable at $40 to attach my new monitor. The picture was simply awesome. Upon reviewing the many reviews here at amazon.com about a "HDMI Cable-2 Meter (6.6 ft) Gold Plated v1.3 HDMI to HDMI Cable with Ferrite Cores" for $7.99, I decided to buy it and give it a try.
