I will say after reading much reviews at traditional online music suppliers, they are really impressive. I have not had the rubber bottom fall out yet, although there are lots of reports online of that. But then again, I'm not trying to be a professional drummer here. The drop in reverberation and improved stabilization (due to the hollowed out end and rubber plugs) in combination with the right resistance and kick back from the electric drum pad is stellar and I can see how these would reduce wrist fatigue when used for a long period of time. I went with the 7a stick to try it out and I like the slender grip. The warped sticks that came with the Rock band game were 5a's so it was nice to see what a change in diameter of the stick would feel like. While I don't have a professional opinion, if I had to do it again, I think with larger hands like mine the 5a's diameter will go over... Therefore, I highly recommend getting these. I also have the Zildjian 5AWA 5a Wood Anti-Vibe Drumsticks and those work great too. For Rock Band, the nylon tips don't matter. I just thought it looked pretty cool. It's great quality and they are not warped!
