It was first xbox360 version(no hdmi). It plays game fine but xbox was making loud noise. Found out fan was running 100% at all times. Bought the kit using prime(2day ship!) Took apart xbox and found out thermal paste was hard. Cleaned out old thermal paste and placed new one. Did everything manual said. First time boot Red Ring Of DEATH!!!!!! My xbox360 did not have RROD before xclamp mod. Took apart and adjusted screws(DO NOT OVERTIGHT SCREWS) Second boot- works! and fan was running quiet. I guess fan was running 100% due to thermal paste not doing its job. I over tighten screws at first so it didnt work. I stopped turning as soon as I felt pressure.
