I detail many boats and RV's as a business. This is the best 1 step product I have ever tried. It removes light to medium oxidation and leaves a great shine. You can use by hand or with a buffer. Sometimes I'll apply with an orbital buffer and immediately hit it with a high speed buffer with a wool pad and it restores Rv and Boat finishes incredibly well. So far it has worked on every rv challenge. Boats that are heavily oxidized you may need a straight heavy compound, 3m also has a great heavy duty compound, then this is the perfect 2nd step. Also, it is pretty easy to remove. Good luck.

I purchased a 89 Cobalt last year that has a black stripe which had lots of oxidation. I was going to wet sand the whole boat, buff it with a compound, and then polish it with a good wax when I found this product and I decided to give it a try. I used an orbital buffer and it worked very well and was fairly easy to use if you follow the directions and take your time. I probably would have had even better results if I use a high speed polisher. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This product is not perfect but it works well.I have a 22 year old boat with dark blue gelcoat. The boat is docked in the sun all season long. It had faded to a chalky blue/gray. 3M brought it back to 90% of its actual color. Have used it for 3 years now. Not something you want to do by hand...power polisher is a must.
