Product Description
Axiom, Spectra, and Elite lenses pass the American ASTM standard and the European EC Standard. But testing doesn't stop there. We shoot them, stomp them, hit them with 1/4" steel balls at 400fps (feet per second), run over them, and let the dog chew them. And that proves one thing, JT lenses meet an even higher standard - JT Standard. With a fog-resistant coated thermal inner lens that can be cleaned with a JT micro fiber cloth, the standard has been lifted even higher to include pure optical style. From our Gradient lenses to our Prizm thermals, you will not find a better lens with a higher standard of safety anywhere!
Amazon.com Product Description
Keep your opponents clearly in view even in less than ideal weather conditions with this thermal replacement lens for JTUSA Spectra mask systems. It offers high-performance fog-resistant protection, and is recommended for extreme weather conditions where heavy fogging can be a factor. It's available in clear (good for dusk and night matches), yellow and amber tints (good for low-light conditions to increase contrast for enhanced visibility), and a smoke tint (the best choice for bright sunlit days, especially in open areas).
If you find even the smallest crack on your paintball mask lens, you should replace it immediately. For safety sake, you should replace the lens at least once a year, even if it seems fine.
- Replacement lens for Spectra mask systems

JTUSA Spectra Thermal Paintball Mask Lens Reviews
Pricy, but worth it., This review is from: JTUSA Spectra Thermal Paintball Mask Lens (Sports) I would like to start by saying that swapping the lens is difficult the first time, but much easier after knowing how. My first swap, I just looked up a how-to video online. Very easy after that. PRO: It is very much worth upgrading to a thermal lens over a stock, regardless of weather. If your lens might fog, get a thermal. Having played in very cold weather with and without one of these is the difference between playing with and without your eyes. CONS: While I airsoft with these now, when I paintballed with them, they were susceptible to cracking. Mostly only happened whenever I was shot in the face from very close range, but I frequently found small cracks along the bottom of the bridge of the nose. While you are supposed to swap them out after any goggle shot, I only did when the small cracks compromised the anti-fog. Pleased with purchase, Thanks for a wonderful shipping time. My son was very pleased with his items for christmas. 0 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Buy a Mask with quick release lens system, By V Dubbes (West Linn, Oregon) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: JTUSA Spectra Thermal Paintball Mask Lens (Sports) Terrible design to incorporate this lens into a mask. It is the most user-unfriendly system I've ever seen. It takes an hour to replace the lens. That's with tools. I don't know how long it would take if you tried to do it the recommended way. Also, lenses are limited to a 1 year lifespan and must be replaced every time you are shot within 10 feet. Buy a mask that does not require such effort. |
