The boat and trailer are about 30 years old. The uprights are not extremely strong, but they hold the boat in place while loading in a wind, which is their purpose. Well designed, easy to install, and good value Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: awesome, June 22, 2011 This review is from: Fulton Trailer Boat Guide (Sports) Spent last year wrestling the boat on the trailer...not this year, boat goes on easily with these guides! Install is not hard at all and a fair price. I recommend these guides to anyone Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? Fulton Boat Trailer Guides, October 12, 2011 This review is from: Fulton Trailer Boat Guide (Sports) I was extremely disappointed to find out that the 90 deg. angled pieces that mount to the trailer frame are made of Schedule 80 PVC and not aluminum or galvanized steel. The uprights are Schedule 40 PVC and I have no doubt that a year or so in the SC and FL sun will make this system so brittle that it will break under normal use. The bolts, brackets, and spacers are fine. I was away and my son had already received and installed them for me when I returned home or I would have returned them. I see these guides as a very poor investment for the money I paid. No more Duncan for me. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
