Shakespeare Centennial White 8' VHF Marine Antenna features brass and copper elements, it is chrome-plated brass ferrule with standard 1 inch -14 thread. Includes 15 feet cable and a connector. Suggested mount style 4187 ratchet mount or use a 410 mounting kit.

A local radio shop wanted $25 to install the connector. I got a local ham to do it for $15. A previous antenna had about 25 foot of coax and had a connector alread installed. It was simple to replace and I was able to splice the coax cable by buying a PL-258 connector. The new antenna works great.
