Product Description
The unique offshore box anchor holds your boat at a 45° angle from the bottom, digging in the downward facing flukes without snagging them on debris. Easy to handle, this anchor gives you more control over the placement of your boat, regardless of water conditions. Toss the anchor overboard, and it will set within one foot of its landing. To retrieve, pull the line to bring the boat over the anchor. The lack of upward facing surface area allows the anchor to pop off the bottom. Stainless steel stabilizing arm folds compactly into the included ventilated storage bag. For boats 18' - 30'.

Most anchors (especially Danforth and other fluke type anchors) require about a boat length of chain to maintain the proper angle and weight to set effectively. With the box anchor (no chain - rope only), I don't have to drag chain in and... Much better than the fluke style anchor I used before. It is a little expensive, bulky and heavy but very effective. No regrets. |
